| Happy New Year...Â
...from my quarantine corner to yours!
I am so excited for 2021 (although it's been a tumultuous start)! I'm thrilled to announce that I have re-launched my business, shifting branding from PGE LLC to PGE Consulting Group LLC.
As I forge ahead with a new calendar year full of potential, I want to also reflect on and learn from the past. While 2020 had some painful moments, it was definitely a pivotal and reflective year.
Keeping this quote in mind, I am turning my 2020 challenges into power, and that power into growth. See below for some of my reflections on 2020. First is my list of top best things that
happened last year, next is my reflection on the challenges from last year, and finally, a beginning list of things Iâm looking forward to for 2021. Letâs dive in!

- In 2020, I continued to amplify my commitment to organizations that support Black lawyers, including being a member of the steering committee and serving as a moderator for the 2020 My Brotherâs Keeper, My Sister's Keeper Fellowship Summit, continuing my service as an inaugural board member of The Black BigLaw Pipeline, and continuing my leadership as the current treasurer and past president of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.
- IÂ attended Oprahâs 2020 Vision tour (and made it into the video at 36:52) Looking back, this is bitter-sweet because it may have been the last time Iâll be in an arena with thousands of people for a while...
- I visited Jamaica for the first time in
February and explored my mother's homeland (briefly).
